Qualified Repair Technicians
After an inspection, any defective fire equipment must be repaired or replaced by a qualified technician.
Often the repairs are routine such as replacing failed emergency lights or smoke alarms, but occasionally there are more complex issues like repairing fire seals and dampers, or investigating a loss of water pressure.
At Civil Fire, we employ all our own qualified tradespeople, meaning there is only one point of contact throughout the process.
Our trusted team is comprised of:
- Carpenters
- Electricians
- Fire panel technicians
- Plumbers/sprinkler fitters
- Diesel mechanics
- Mechanical engineers
Civil Fire insists on using only quality parts and equipment. There are always going to be cheaper alternatives on the market but as we have frequently witnessed, these items often fail inspection soon after installation.
I don’t think we’ve had contractors come through before who were so clean and tidy, helpful and responsive with ideas about how to better maintain the heritage and be compliant and generally respectful of the property.
He was so thoughtful, he stopped the really noisy part of the repair so I could answer calls. I went out at lunch, and he was on his hands and knees washing the floor in the entry because he’d brought in some debris from the street.
People are very quick to complain but slow to compliment so I just wanted to say thank you for your prompt service.
